The Bed and Breakfast "Zia Menga" is a newly created accommodation facility located in the historic centre of Luogosanto, a few steps from Piazza Duomo and the famous Basilica of the Nativity of Beata Vergina Maria / Nòstra Signóra of Locusantu, the first Franciscan church of north-eastern Sardinia, a true symbol of Christian Gallura devotion that receives thousands of pilgrimages every year.
The Bed and Breakfast is located inside a historic building across three levels which, from the 40s to the early 80s of the twentieth century, was already used as an inn.
For decades, "La Locanda di Zia Menga" offered accommodation and refreshments to visitors, both devotees of the Virgin on pilgrimage and those who needed to stay for a few days in the territory of Luogosanto, whether for business or to carry out activities related to the agro-pastoral tradition of the area. Around the mid-80s of the twentieth century, the Locanda di Zia Menga ceased its activity and the structure was used as a private residence, intended use maintained until recent years.
In 2022, following a complete renovation and modernization that honours the history and local tradition, the building came back to life and the Zia Menga Bed and Breakfast was born
On the ground floor, which is accessed from Via Regina Elena, there is a living room, a kitchen (which can be used on request), a private bathroom and a laundry room. The space is equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV and a sofa bed. If necessary, it can be used as an additional bedroom.
On the first floor, accessible via a flight of stairs, there is a double bedroom with a balcony overlooking the historic centre of the town and a private bathroom. The space is equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV and an independent entrance overlooking the back of the building.
On the second floor, accessible via a flight of stairs, there are two bedrooms: a double bedroom (queen size bed) with a balcony overlooking the historic centre of the town and a bedroom with bunk beds, ideal for the children. The two bedrooms have a shared bathroom and both are equipped with air conditioning. In the double bedroom there is a satellite TV.

The B&B is also covered by Wi-Fi connection that can be used free of charge by guests. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and in the double rooms there is satellite TV. On request it is possible to take advantage of additional services such as: breakfast (at an affiliated facility very close to the B&B), kitchen and laundry facilities.
Luogosanto is a village of Franciscan foundation (13th century AD) which currently has less than two thousand inhabitants. Located in the heart of Gallura, at the foot of the Monti Ghjunanni hill, it was inhabited in the Nuragic era and in the Middle Ages it was part of the curatoria of Montargia, in the Giudicato of Gallura.
